I'm fortunate enough that I'm able to travel to other countries once or twice a year. I'm particularly blessed that - due to my wife's origins - I have often had the chance to travel to North Idaho, which in itself a beautiful area, but is also located within driving distance of such wonders as Glacier National Park, Banff National Park in British Columbia, and other locations that rank among the most beautiful in the world.
During the three weeks I usually spend in such surroundings, I try to get as much photography done as possible. While I never leave disappointed with my images, it is actually a challenge to make the best use of the time and to get the optimal images from, to me, unfamiliar ground where the world's best landscape photographers roam.
